Winter Recipes: A Nourishing Sweet Date & Nut Porridge 

Winter calls for warm, nourishing bowls—and this Sweet Date & Nut Porridge is the perfect way to start your day with comfort and energy. 

Ingredients: 

  • ½ cup rolled oats or semolina 

  • 1 cup milk or almond milk 

  • 3–4 chopped dates 

  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds or walnuts 

  • 1 tsp ghee 

  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder 

Recipe: 

Roast the oats lightly in ghee on low to medium heat. 
Add milk, dates, and nuts, and cook until thick. 
Add cardamom and sweeten with jaggery if desired. 

Benefits: 

Good for energy, warmth, and grounding mornings.
