Winter Recipes: Winter Spiced Chyavanprash Drink
During winter, digestion slows and immunity needs extra support—this spiced Chyavanprash drink offers both in one comforting cup.
Ingredients (for 1 cup):

1 cup whole milk (or almond milk)

1–2 tsp Chyawanprash

½ tsp cinnamon powder
-
A pinch of nutmeg
-
¼ tsp cardamom powder
-
A small piece of fresh ginger (grated, optional, for extra warmth)

Jaggery to taste (add after cooling slightly)
Recipe:
-Warm the milk in a small pan on low heat.
-Add Chyavanprash and stir until fully dissolved.
-Add cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, and ginger.
-Simmer for 2–3 minutes on very low heat — do not boil vigorously.
-Remove from heat, let it cool slightly, then add jaggery if desired.
-Drink warm, preferably 30–60 minutes before bedtime.
